This month also offers important moments of reflection and gratitude as we observe World Environment Day and honor our military families through D-Day remembrance and Flag Day. All of this leads us to Father’s Day, a time to celebrate the dads and father figures who guide, protect, and support their families in so many meaningful ways.

My name is Michele Vanags and I’m your go-to local State Farm Insurance Agent in Evergreen, CO. As a long-time resident of Evergreen, I love my neighborhood and community and can often be seen around town! As the Youth Liaison for the Evergreen Rotary Club, I have the privilege of working closely with Evergreen High School students through our Young Rotarians program. One of our most meaningful projects this spring is organizing the INSPIRE Prom -- an inclusive celebration created for youth with disabilities through the INSPIRE program, which provides adaptive recreational opportunities. I'm also honored to serve as a Board member for Resilience1220, a local nonprofit dedicated to supporting teen mental health and suicide prevention. Being part of these organizations allows me to give back to our community in ways that truly matter.
